I attended Hawke & Co F/W 2014 press event for their outerwear in their new showroom in NYC. Let me give you a little background history about Hawke & Co first from their mouths.
After 150 years, spanning three generations of an independently owned and operated family business, the Hawke & Co brand continues to evolve while remaining true to its NYC roots.
Our outerwear is more than the sum of its parts. Our jackets are the embodiment of our creative spirit and attention to detail. Each of our garments are carefully crafted and designed to be multi-purpose functional clothing that complements the versatility and exploration within the people we connect with.
Today Hawke & Co apparel and outerwear can be found in over 20,000 retail stores around the world. We’ve grown without expensive advertising or big name celebrities on a billboard but rather, through an authentic, grass roots idea to design and create innovative, affordable styles that satisfy our customer’s needs while exceeding their expectations every time.
We’ve come a long way since our founders first stepped onto the cobblestone streets of New York City and their standards to quality, function and design remain an integral part to our core as a company. I’ve been a fan of Hawke & Co for a very long time. I love their high quality styles for men, the warmth, how the designers listen to their customers wants and needs, durable fabrics and high tech details. Great outerwear for the outdoor adventurer and urban explorer. Outerwear that keeps me and my family warm in frigid conditions is what I look for. I think it’s time for my family and I to take a trip and explore. As long as Hawke & Co comes along for our journey I would love to capture it all.
The showroom had so many options to choose from like the packable lightweight jackets that we also received as a gift in a variety of colors. Quilted jackets, fur trimmed hooded parkas, down jackets , fleece and packlite vests in a number of colors as well. Backpacks, shoes, boots, swim trunks and clothing all looked great! My three young men would love everything there. I usually find Hawke & Co at department stores and catch the sales every time.
