Give Halo’s for Valentine’s Day The Healthy Alternative

11 Feb

Celebrate your Valentine’s Day by giving your little angels a healthy snack alternative that’s filled with “pure goodness”!

 Wonderful Halos mandarins are:

· A sweet, seedless and easy to peel snack that’s a healthy alternative to fatty foods

· About 50 calories delivering 45 percent of the recommended daily value of vitamin C

What better way to celebrate Valentine’s day with nature’s perfect valentine, Wonderful Halos! We’re making Valentine’s day easy this year. Learn how to make a healthy valentine that your kid’s classmates will love in just a handful of steps. Tutorials for how to make Halos Origami Heart and Halos Heart Box are available on their Facebook page and blog. A box of Halos makes enough valentines for an entire class AND you’ll get an A+ for originality this Valentine’s day. Think outside the chocolate box and replace unhealthy snacks and candy for a sweet and healthy Halo that’s sure to win your Valentine’s heart!
My kids and I enjoy Halo’s so much we can each eat about 2 a day. They prefer Halo’s than orange juice and I don’t mind. I always make sure to have them for their school lunch and afternoon snack. Sometimes my daughter will pick a Halo over dessert. I’m right there with her. We also take them with us when we’re out for the day and also on road trips. Have you seen the Halo’s commercials? We crack up every time we see them.

Waking up to a nice juicy Halo is a great burst of energy. Easy to peel and there are no seeds to pick out. What’s better than that? What will you give your little ones for Valentine’s Day? The healthy way is a great way!!

Build-A-Bear Workshop Welcomes Care Bears

22 Jan

Care Bears made their debut to Build-A-Bear Workshops® nationwide for a year-long promotion highlighting the loveable, caring and sharing bunch. You can also order online at http://www.buildabear.com

I was invited to see how it all went down at the Empire State Building location. I’ve never experienced the Build-A-Bear Workshop before but was glad to finally get a chance to now that Care Bears joined them.

Care Bears have always been one of my favorite stuffed animals. My kids are also fans. I was able to pick out two bears, outfits and accessories, then see how the bears were stuffed, given their beating hearts, a cotton candy and bubble gum scent, theme music and birth certificates. I also received backpacks and the cardboard house that it travels in. Hmm, was I giving these to my daughter or keeping one for myself? Well you should know the answer. She got both. She was very surprised and thankful.

Tenderheart Bear and Cheer Bear are ready for you take home to your little ones for Valentine’s Day, Birthdays or any occasion. Create your personalized bear today. I chose Cheer Bear. Which bear will you choose?

Cheer Bear is a very happy Care Bear who helps others see the bright side of life. She will sometimes even do a cheer to help make someone happier! Wherever she goes, Cheer Bear wears a belly badge of hope and happiness- a colorful rainbow. Cheer Bear has soft pink fur.

Now open at Build-A-Bear Workshop Empire State 350 5th Avenue, on 34th street, New York NY.

Teleflora Delivers Fresh Flowers For Valentine Day & Big Giveaway

22 Jan

Teleflora invited bloggers to a special Valentine’s Day Tea at Soho’s Crosby Street Hotel. We were there to get an exclusive preview to Teleflora’s new Valentine’s Day floral lineup and Teleflora announced their Love Note Concierge campaign with a special love note writing session from special guest, Hannah Brencher. Hannah leads the global initiative, The World Needs More Love Letters and encourages strangers to exchange love letters in attempt to spread love, kindness, and happiness in an age that is run by all things digital. Hannah has been featured on TEDtalk, Huffington Post, and many more with her heartwarming story.

There’s nothing like waking up or walking into a room filled with fresh flowers. It can be for any occasion. Teleflora flower arrangements are so beautiful I just want to order every month. The collectible vases, mugs, pitchers, etc are a great keepsake and even when the flowers are finished they can be used for other uses. Check out the ‘Flowers in a Gift” collection and look for the symbol when ordering.

I’m so glad Teleflora started their Love Note Concierge campaign (February 3-12). When I receive flowers it’s great to have a handwritten note along with it. Step away from technology and take time to write from the heart. It doesn’t have to rhyme or fill up a whole page it’s just you expressing your feelings. I’ve always loved writing love notes, or just writing in general and I also love writing in calligraphy a skill I learned in high school. It looks very pretty on paper and the recipient can see I put a lot into it.

With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching (February 14), its time to check out http://www.teleflora.com now and see the gorgeous collection. Same day delivery and next day delivery available.
