STRUT, THE FASHIONABLE MOMS SHOW #NYFW

STRUT, THE FASHIONABLE MOM SHOW took place Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center on Saturday, Sept. 7th. by Cottonelle, Whirlpool and Vaseline.
I, along with plenty of bloggers, sponsors, celebrities, and anybody who knew they should have been in attendance was at this show. I took my kids, and sister with me as well and we had a blast!! My kids got to see Amare Stoudemire from the Knicks. Amare’s wife and kids strutted on the runway along with CC Sabathia’s wife and kids. It was a star studded night. Why of course we got pictures of them and some with them.

Everyone did a fantastic job strutting, and the kids were on point striking poses. I can’t wait to see who they’re inviting next year. The pictures are on the link below but I included my pictures on this post. I also ran into Paris Hilton in lobby and got a picture with her. Her sister Nikki was there with her but they were attending another show.

Gift bags were filled with goodies from sponsors and the after party was held at Columbus Circle with treats!!

BCBGMAXAZRIA S14 COLLECTION #NYFW

Every year Fashion Week comes to NY and I make sure I try to see at least two or more shows. I used to be able to see more when I volunteered but those days are over. I’d rather take pictures and give my readers a up close view of what I saw. This year I won tickets courtesy of Caboodles to see the first show to kick of NYFW which was BCBGMAXAZRIA. I was so excited!! I love their clothes and couldn’t wait to see what S14 collection was going to look like.

Of course you cannot go to a fashion show without celebrities being in the front row. I just so happen to be across from Heidi Klum, Estelle Darlings, Selita Ebanks, Guiliana Rancic, and a seat away from June Ambrose. You know I have pictures.

I absolutely fell in love with the entire collection and even though I know I probably won’t own any of the pieces I still want them all. From crop tops, asymmetrical skirts, slits in skirts, sheer, and beautiful designs were all on the runway. Loved the khakis, creams, blues, blacks and whites.
The gift bags had their amazing perfume inside. Everyone loves the scent and so do I. My favorite!!

BACK TO SCHOOL MILLIONS OF COLORS GIRLS FASHION SHOW!!

September 19th Diva Moms held a Back-to-School Millions Of Colors Fashion Show at Craft Studio NYC. I took my daughter and I thought Craft Studio NYC was the perfect place to hold a fashion show for kids. It’s an arts and craft store that holds workshops, parties, sells toys and my daughter just knew she hit the jackpot when she walked in. Now she wants to go there all the time. Lol. I saw beautiful clothing from Millions Of Colors for ages 2-14. The children modeling the clothes looked so cute showing off the designs. Some were shy and had to be escorted, some ran through, and some just did what they had to do. I think they all did a fabulous job. Of course my daughter thought she was there to model but at the end of the show everyone was able to walk the runway. She was very happy. The kids were also were able to get glitter tattoos, enjoy delicious treats from Cakes Jagla, and take home headbands. Parents were also able to put orders in for any of the clothing that was being displayed that evening with a bonus 20% off. I just couldn’t leave without purchasing some arts & crafts for my daughter. It was a fun afternoon.

@UnrulyHeir #NYFW

Once again I won 2 tickets to #NYFW to see @UnrulyHeir at the Park in Chelsea so I took my mom along this time and this show was different from the rest. There were marshmallows to roast, and a dj playing the right tunes if you were throwing a ski cabin party in the Poconos. The models stood in a line and you get to walk around and take their pictures while their serious or goofing off. This was L ‘Unruly Après Ski fall collection and there were a lot of plaid, red, even boxers with a ski mask and scarf. I liked what the twin models Marco and Matthew were wearing. I liked all the outfits from the hats down to the Converse sneakers they had on. My mother and I enjoyed ourselves and hope to be invited back next time. I also won an outfit which will go to my son. @_petite PARADE Day 2 #kidsfashionweek

Day 2 was just as fun as Day 1 and My daughter and son tagged along today for more amazing fashion. I took pictures too but will put the professional images by John Parra on this blog attached to the link along with a few of my own down below. Scheduled were Bonnie Young, Pale Cloud, Ki6, Iceberg, Miss Bluemarine, Silvia’s Heach Kids and Music by 9 year old DJ Fulano.

There was a Creative Workshop presented by The Little West Group and milkPOP in support of Only Make Believe. Kids got to decorate sneakers, t-shirts, or pillows with all types of glitter, markers, paint, ribbons, and crystals. My daughter did a t-shirt and a pillow for a small fee which went for a great cause Only Make Believe.

The 5:00pm showcase featured Andy & Evan, Beatrix New York, Cupcakes & Pastries, Isabel et Toi, Kissy Kissy, Pimalinda, Reina Mora, Snopea, SUOAK, Umi, Zutano, and Zuzii.
The 5:30pm show were all about the shoes Akers Kids, Saucony Kids, Sperry Top-sider, and Stride Rite.

Once again every show was amazing and my daughter loved just about every outfit. My son enjoyed himself and they also enjoyed the amazing cupcakes by Georgetown. Delish! Snacks are always a must with kids so glad they made sure we were taken cared of and gift bags always a winner!! Met a lot of people this year and I’m glad I did. Also great to see my fellow bloggers and a few celebrities in the audience like June Ambrose, Alex McCord, Simon van Kempen and the Novogratz.

@_petitePARADE #kidsfashionweek Diesel Kids Fashion Show

Diesel was the last show on Day 1 and they were accompanied by a special live School of Rock House Band Performance which rocked!! There was also a make-your-own flip book workshop. Everyone also got lollipops and candy was given out by the models at the end of the show.
I’ve always loved Diesel and were glad when they made a kids line. All the kid models were so cute and did a great job in all of the shows.

My daughter managed to get on the runway with her friends and pose for pictures once it ended of course. They all should have been in the show. We enjoyed ourselves and couldn’t wait for Day 2.

@_petitePARADE Review of #kidsfashionweek Target Runway Showcase

March 9 was the first day of kids fashion week and I was beyond thrilled to get to come back and experience all the great styles and trends for kids. My daughter accompanied me again this year and she was excited as well. I’d like to thank Bryan Arenas for all his hard work and giving me the invite. If you have kids, and you’re into fashion then @_petitePARADE is where you need to be every year. Fashion, and Kidswear Editors gathered and mingled with haute mommy- bloggers, designers, and buyers to experience the newest collections and watch the little fashionistas hit. The runway to amazing tunes by petite DJ’s and a live band.

The first show up was the Target Runway Showcase which featured Target’s bull terrier mascot which guests had the opportunity to take pictures with after the show. Guests also received a stuffed dog which is the bull terrier mascot for Target. My daughter enjoyed meeting her in person and also enjoyed taking pictures with her BFF’s and Tristan and Tyler. She loves the camera too and wants to be on the runway soon.
DJ Kai Song was on the turntables and is only 8 yrs old.

#NYFW Kenneth Cole Fashion Show #KCRUNWAY

I love when Fashion Week comes to New York so I make it my business to try and attend a few shows. I used to volunteer years ago and see all the shows and take home a few freebies here and there. I miss the Bryant Park location but Lincoln Center is pretty cool. I won 2 tickets to the Kenneth Cole show and decided to take my 16 year old son along for the ride. The location of the show was on 27th street this year in a studio. There were celebrities there but I only saw Heidi Klum and Kenneth Cole himself who I was able to get pictures of. The show was amazing and I hope to attend a few more hopefully before the next one. If anyone has extra tickets just laying around I am available. Hope you enjoy the pictures!!!
