#MOMTRENDSHOLIDAY EVENT @StellaDot SHOWROOM IN NYC

4 Dec

This year bloggers celebrated the holiday season with Momtrends at the Stella & Dot Showroom down on Wooster St, in NYC. I always get super excited when Momtrends throws their fabulous events. Donations this year were to Bottomless Closet. We were able to bring new or lightly used work clothes, accessories, coats or shoes for disadvantaged women going into the workplace. I remember years ago being part of a program like this where I got a referral to get free clothes, jewelry, shoes, etc so I could go on an interview. These programs/agencies/charities come in handy when women/men need clothing to go into the workplace. I appreciated it a lot. I didn’t mind at all donating for a good cause.

Sponsors in attendance were Teleflora, Priv, Lands End, Walkers, Little Me, Duck, I See Me, Vermont Nut Free Chocolate, Apothederm, Peanut Hottie, Stella & Dot.

Teleflora. I absolutely love Teleflora flowers because first of all they never box any of their flowers. They are delivered fresh across the US and Canada. You can choose from a variety of occasions and styles. There’s the Thinking of You flowers, Just Because and I’m Sorry flowers just to name a few.

Teleflora featured three new bouquets that captured the authenticity and spirit of the festive family holiday traditions. The trio includes a holly motif- serving bowl, a gingerbread-house cookie jar and a merry mug. Each of these bouquets will arrive with a Teleflora exclusive holiday recipe. For example, a chocolate-dipped cookie recipe accompanies the Gingerbread Cookie Jar Bouquet. Cake Boss Buddy Valastro and Teleflora collaborated and recipes are courtesy of him.

My kids loved their Gingerbread Cookie Jar Bouquet. It made a great centerpiece on their table. Once the flowers have passed on the cookie jar is a special treat for the kids to grab cookies. Lands End my absolutely favorite store for apparel, outerwear, footwear and home items made sure they did what they do best and brought us their holiday outfits for a few lucky bloggers to model. I loved the black sleeveless ponte sheath dress with pockets and cashmere dress cardigan sweater in red on one of the models. The cardigan gave it that pop of color. The jewelry from Stella & Dot was sparkly and amazing. The whole outfit makes a great look for holiday parties. I also adores the Déjà Vu Double-Sided Stud earrings from Stella & Dot. I need to purchase these quickly.

Lands End also showed us gifts to please everyone on your list. Cozy pajamas, socks and slippers, and warm hats, gloves and scarves.
Stella & Dot had a table full of beautiful necklaces, bracelets, and rings. Mother, daughter, niece, aunt whoever they won’t be disappointed if any of these were handed to them. http://www.landsend.com http://www.stelladot.com Twitter: @landsend @stelladot

Walkers Shortbread cookies melted in my mouth. I love shortbread cookies and was happy to see they have festive shapes for everyone to decorate with ease. I can leave the cookie shapers and flour in the cabinet and just buy the cookies, icing and sprinkles and my kids and I can make a mess without making a big mess. I rather spend hours decorating and not having to turn on the oven. For more info click here : http://www.us.walkersshortbread.com Twitter: @shortbread

Vermont Nut Free Chocolates are you guessed it, NUT FREE!! There are so many people allergic to nuts so it’s good to know we can buy all the chocolate we want with this company. I’m a chocoholic so I made sure to try lots of samples. Even the chocolate covered pretzels were good. Check out the website for gifts and other treats. http://www.vermontnutfree.com Twitter: @vermontnutfree

Priv stopped by giving manicures to those who wanted it. I’ve been to quite a few events with Priv where I’ve gotten manicures or makeup done. They come to your home and hook you up. Follow them on Twitter: @gopriv

The Duck Brand is for that crafty, DIY person. My kids and I love duck tape and crafting. Love the ideas they showed us on how to decorate your Christmas table with tape. They made a place mat, utensil holder, gift box and name card. Can’t wait to get crafty with my kids. Follow on Twitter for great ideas @theduckbrand Web: http://www.duckbrand.com

I See Me company for personalized children books. So many to choose from for babies, girls, boys. We received a voucher for a personalized book. Twitter: @iseeme_maia Website: http://www.iseeme.com

Little Me stylish, fashionable child appropriate clothing. I loved dressing my babies in Little Me when they were growing up. From newborn to toddler, soft cotton, terrycloth and velour. “Little Me believes babies should always be comfortable, snuggly and safe, free to do what they do best: play, sleep and thrive.” The pajamas were too cute. Check out the clothes at http://www.littleme.com and on Twitter: @littleme_baby

Apothederm Skin Care provided products in the gift bag. They take care of fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots and stretch marks. You can take a look at their products at http://www.apothederm.com and on Twitter: @apothederm

Peanut Hottie gave away a gift basket full of their products and kitchen gadgets. They also had samples in the gift bag. Have you ever had a peanut butter hot drink? Neither have I but I will try it and let you know how it is. Just 83 calories. That’s incredible. Available at Walmart. Twitter: @PeanutHottieUSA

We also had a catered dinner with great sandwiches and wine. There were raffles, a fashion show and great conversation. Nicole even showed us her accessory picks. I enjoyed myself as always and want to thank Nicole Feliciano and Sherri Schubert @Momtrends for another great event!!

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. I was given a gift bag full of goodies from the sponsors. Opinions are mine as always all 100%.
