Back To School Sandwiches With @BJsWholesale #shoptheclub #ad

National Sandwich Month is coming to an end but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy sandwiches whenever we want. 

Back To School is approaching very fast and my kids know what type of lunches they want to take to school. When it comes to sandwiches they are only picky about the types of meat they eat.  

A morning breakfast sandwich could be bacon, egg and cheese or a grilled cheese sandwich but a deli sandwich has to be honey glazed or regular turkey. 

Since I’ll be preparing lunches for two kids I’m depending on BJ’s Wholesale to give me the great selection and meats, cheeses, breads, produce and condiments I need. 

My daughter who’s going to 4th grade will probably be the one who will use cookie cutters and make cute faces for her food. (As she did below) My son who is going to 8th grade just wants a meal. He’s not into all the cute lunches. 


I love pre-sliced cheeses. No cutting or slicing just take out of package, put on bread and that’s it. Wellsley  Farms has a variety of cheeses to choose from. Pepper Jack, Provolone, Sharp Cheddar and Muenster are on the top of our list.  


Bread for my kids school lunches have to be on rolls. Even though the kids love Wellsley Farms whole wheat bread and Sara Lee Artesano Bread they prefer rolls at school. My daughter switches up sometimes. BJ’s has a great selection of fresh bakery bread from rolls to whole wheat and even challah when I want to make French Toast for breakfast.

Deli meat is Turkey like I mentioned earlier. You can purchased from the deli department by the pound or packaged deli meats. I love Wellsley Farms brand and I think I’m going back to Chicken Breast which is also good. I’ll still but Turkey but I want to eat chicken again. I also want to try buffalo chicken as well. I love spicy food. My kids also love spicy. 

So for back to school cold sandwiches hold better for my kids and when they get home they enjoy grilled cheese or panini sandwiches. No matter what type BJ’s has it all. Here are my grilled cheese and panini versions I made before. Grilled cheese doesn’t have to be just cheese I made a turkey, cheese, peppers and onions. The kids also loved the panini grilled cheese and the triple decker grilled cheese.

Mom’s Night Out With Momtrends And Amazing Products From 5 Wonderful Brands #ad

Momtrends hosted a much needed Mom’s Night Out event in the penthouse down on Prince Street in NYC. Drinks greeted everyone as they walked in and we were led to the rooftop where the we took amazing pictures with gorgeous views. Inside the penthouse brands set up their tables with fun DIY projects to keep us busy for the evening. 


Before I headed to the stations I chowed down on Earth’s Best organic food, snacks and fruit cups. I tried the stuffed pretzels in two varieties: pizzas and cheddar cheese. The stuffed bites broccoli, kale and cheese were very good. The yogurt smoothies, snack bars and chocolate chip cookies were great too. Our gift bags had some as well that my kids enjoyed.

I started at Quaker’s table as my family and I are big fans of their Quaker bars and oatmeal. We were asked to write on a board and finish this sentence: “If I had an extra hour in the morning I would……., Well like I tell everyone I’m up at 4am every morning so I can have those extra two hours in the morning to prepare and have me time before the kids are awaken. 

Ball Mason jars were handed out to make overnight oats that could help with that extra hour in the morning. No rushing to prepare breakfast because with the help of Quaker it’s so easy to make and healthy. I’ve been a oatmeal fan for years and always pack Quaker snacks for the kids lunches. They’re great anytime of the day. I also love adding different toppings to my oatmeal like fruit, honey and cinnamon.

The next table was Philips Avent . At this station I was able to make a gift for a pregnant mama or a parent who could use a few pacifiers, bottles and sippy cup. I headed to the Clorox station to decorate a container of Clorox disinfecting wipes. I chose the plaid design and added flowers and shimmer. It looked very springy. I know we are in the fall season but I don’t want summer to end. I also don’t want the flu season to begin and so I’m glad Clorox has been around for so long helping families kill 99.999% of bacteria. The final station of the evening I absolutely had to check out was Glad. At this table you could make your own scented body lotions. This was amazing!! I’ve never made body lotion before and I got to choose scents like: lavender, coconut, vanilla and lemon. I chose the lavender and lemon combo. I added a few droplets of each scent to my lotion and the rest is history. It smelled wonderful. My kids even put some on when I got home.

The Moms Back To School Bash Recap #TheMomsBTS

The Moms held their Back To School Bash at 100 Barclay Street. They also had their live Sirius XM Stars Show and I was happy to be a part of it on the 25th floor with beautiful views. This is my second time on their show. We talked about anxiety, nutrition, sleep, fashion and first day of schools cheers or not. I celebrated National Tequila Day in July with Patron and tons of tequila fans and had an amazing time. There were plenty of cocktails to try and interactive mixology stations and food stations from around the world. I enjoyed trying oysters for the first time and creating my very own Bloody Maria drink garnished with shrimp, crab legs, celery and bacon. There were even pina colada ice pops that were so good. CELEBRATE FERRAGOSTO WITH BARONE FINI AND I TRULLI RESTAURANT ON AUGUST 15 #baronefini #ferragosto

On August 15, Barone Fini wines will partner with I Trulli Enoteca e Ristorante, located at 122 East 27th Street between Lexington and Park Avenues, to bring a taste of Ferragosto to the United States. Ferragosto is an annual Italian holiday celebrated on August 15; I Trulli and Barone Fini have created a celebratory menu in honor of this tradition. For every glass of Barone Fini wine that’s poured, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to The Food Bank For New York City. 


Ferragosto originated as a celebration of the Italian harvest. Enjoyed by peasants and aristocrats alike, the festival gave everyone the opportunity to gather together, break bread, and enjoy the fruits of the labor season. Today, Ferragosto is celebrated on August 15th marked with parties, abundant feasts, and fireworks.

NEW Del Monte Adult Fruit Cups (Fruit Refreshers) #TimeToRefresh

Del Monte introduced a new product at their NYC launch at the Gramercy Park Hotel rooftop July 28th and I was invited to see it all go down. The only thing I knew was it was their first ever Adult Fruit Cup. So what makes it an adult fruit cup you might ask? Well if you’re thinking its infused with liquor you’re wrong. Or maybe you’re an alcoholic who was praying you finally got your wish. JUST KIDDING!!!! 


I couldn’t wait to find out. Once I saw the fruit cups the first thing I noticed was the packaging which looks very grown up compared to the fruit cups in kids lunchboxes. The colors of the fruit are bold and bright and I love it! The amazing flavors was the next thing I noticed. My favorite was Pineapple in Passion Fruit flavored lightly sweetened with Fruit Water. I am a huge fan of pineapple and the passion fruit is also very delicious. I love the fact that it’s packed in fruit water. Another plus I noticed was it does not have any High Fructose Corn Syrup, Artificial Flavors or Sweeteners. If you’re around me I’m always talking about how I can’t stand high fructose corn syrup and if one of the first three ingredients in any product is sugar put it back. That goes for high fructose corn syrup too. 


The third thing I noticed was it only has 90 calories. Can you say winner? My family has always been big on fruit cups but a lot of them were flavored in heavy syrup and that wasn’t what I wanted.

These Del Monte Fruit Refreshers fruit cups already have me hooked. Another flavor introduced at the launch was Mandarin Oranges in slightly sweetened Coconut Water. Yes, that’s right Coconut Water. This flavor only have 100 calories. Another winner. 


Two more flavors coming to stores are Red Grapefruit in Guava Flavored Fruit Water and Grapefruit and Oranges in Pomegranate Flavored Fruit Water. 

Spokesperson for Del Monte Fruit Refreshers, Actress and Lifestyle Blogger, Katrina Bowden was in attendance to tell us why she supports Del Monte. “She said as a healthy person who stays fit she likes snacks that she can throw in her bag everyday to enjoy whenever she needs a moment to refresh.”


I love the adult size of these fruit cups and I can’t wait to try all the flavors. Speaking of flavors we had some pretty good refreshing drinks and amazing seafood appetizers and desserts. I felt like I was at a party Under The Sea visiting Spongebob’s pineapple house. Facials were also given if you chose to get one.
