#CELEBRATEINSTYLE HOLIDAY PREVIEW @SingleEdition

22 Nov

Single Edition Media invited women to #CelebrateInStyle at their holiday preview event at Glasshouses in NYC.
Sponsors came out for a wonderful night to show their holiday products and fashion trends.
As soon as I reached the 21st floor I was greeted by the first sponsor of the night DSW. One of my favorite shoes stores I couldn’t wait to see what holiday gifts they brought with them. They had everything from animal print shoes, sparkly jewelry and tights, even hats that sparkled with rhinestones and dressy clutches. Of course I wanted it all. Check out @DSWShoeLovers on Twitter.

Vigoss Jeans treated attendees to a free pair of jeans to take home when you stopped by their table. I loved the new styles. I picked a shiny black pair. You can follow them on Facebook and Instagram @VigossUSA

Diamonds are my best friend and Bulova was showcasing their amazing watches. Slim watches are what’s in now. Bulova gave away three watches. Unfortunately I didn’t win but I will own a Bulova one day. Check out these watches on Twitter: @Bulova

Sears Style knows that a woman doesn’t have to pay a fortune to look like a million bucks. With their new Metaphor line where everything is under $100. Lace, faux leather and tweed my favorites were a big hit. Attendees walked away with small prizes after posting a pic on Instagram with their hashtag and waiting for the vending machine to drop a little something. I won a gift card. http://www.sears.com/style

Silk ‘n Solution the professional aesthetic devices for home use was giving away gift baskets to five lucky attendees worth $700 full of their products. Thirty attendees won a ReVit or Flash & Go device. I won a Flash & Go permanent hair removal device which is great. No more disposable razors. Yippee! Who wouldn’t want spa products in their home compared to going to an actual spa and saving so much money. I want the Sonic Clean Plus which is a deep skin cleansing device that removes dead skin cells on your body and face with vibrating or pulsating modes. It removes 6 times more makeup and dirt than hands alone. Attendees also had a coupon for a free Silk ‘n Pedi in their gift bags. This can be used for dry callused skin. Check their website: http://www.silkn.com

Jergens Skincare knew every woman would love their BB body cream for all skin types. I was already a fan of Jergens products but this just sealed the deal. This lotion goes on sheer, dries quickly and works like a moisturizer to visibly improve your skin with every use. Available in 2 shade fair to medium and medium to tan skin tones. Samples were given out at their table and a bigger sample was in our gift bags. Twitter: @JergensUS

Elizabeth Arden had me blushing for their new perfume Untold Absolu. This sensual fragrance is perfect for the winter season. Florals, red plum, ginger and bursts of raspberry is what makes this perfume my pick of the season. There was also a makeup artist who gave guests lipstick touch ups. On their website you can see all their collections. http://www.elizabetharden.com Twitter: @elizabetharden

Gardein hooked guests up with their healthy meat-free foods. We had their fish & fries, tacos, chicken and turkey cutlets. Amazing! Nothing wrong with vegetarian food. I love spicy black bean burgers too. Twitter: @gardein and on the web at http://www.gardein.com

In Style is known for fashion, beauty and celebrity buzz you need to know. They showed everyone love at their table with jewelry to take a sneak peek at and copies of their magazine. Web: http://www.instyle.com @InStyle on Twitter.

GlasshousesNYC is one of the best event space for any venue in NYC with spectacular views of Manhattan. Located at 545 West 25th St. I love events at night because the pictures of the background are breathtaking. Fir more info visit http://www.glasshousesny.com or on Twitter @GlasshousesNYC

There was also a presentation with all of the sponsors talking about their products. Also, In Style beauty director Kahlana Barfield talked about trends for Spring 2015. I’m still fascinated when it comes to makeup and learning how to apply bold or pastel eyeshadow, bright red lip and the winged mascara look. I’m loving the matte lip personally and the amazing smells of some of the perfumes.

Big shout outs to @Tagspire and @SingleEdition (Single Edition Media) If you’re a blogger or social media fan or brand you must check them out. Thank you for inviting me. It was wonderful!!!

These were just some of the sponsors that were present. More sponsored products were included in the gift bags. I’d like to thank all of them and everyone who made this event possible. Can’t wait till the next one.

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. Opinions are 100% mine. We were given samples, and gift bags.

@clarksshoes SPRING 2015 COLLECTION PREVIEW #clarksSS15

21 Nov

Comfortable, affordable, stylish shoes should be in everyone’s closet. There’s so many shoes to choose from but not all are worth it. Clark’s Shoes have been around since 1825 and have great styles for the whole family. I am a big fan and was very pleased to attend a preview of their Spring 2015 Collection. I started with the kids collection from infant up to kids. I attended their kids fashion show at Petite Parade and adored the spring collection on those small feet. Soft bendable soles for infants and toddlers is something I always looked for when my kids were smaller. I also loved that the girls collection had an espadrille type sandal where the heel wasn’t too high. Also the cute Birkenstock type sandal in silver, polka dots and a nice plum color are on my daughter’s must have list. She loves her sandals. Velcro’s also played a big part in the kids collection and the blinged out sneakers in pink and silver had me wanting a pair for myself. There were also funky chevron polka dot high top and low top sneakers that boys and girls could wear in my opinion. Maybe the low tops for the boys. My daughter wants the high tops. Boat shoes every kid and adult should own a pair or two. Color blocking in the sneakers, sandals and boat shoes were also very stylish. I saw lots of 4th of July colors. Water sandals are a must have too. The little wallabees and desert boots for infants/kids were so cute.

Heels, heels and more heels is what the woman’s collection was showing in neutral colors. Lots of creams, blacks, and a few pinks, navy, reds, yellows and oranges. I even saw a great pair of snakeskin flats. I love strappy heels and the Oxford shoes were a must have. Clogs, mules, and wedges were also on point. Sandals in silver, white black and snakeskin as well. T-strap dress sandals in yellow, orange, and a crocodile two tone flat was beautiful. The heels with daisies from the Orla Kiely collection were colorful and fun. Need the whole Orla Kiely collection.

Wallabees and Desert Boots are the original shoes from Clark’s and I remember almost every man wearing a pair. These are still very popular as I see on men’s feet till this day. Comfortable, look great and you can choose from suede or leather in both. I always loved the dark brown in the wallabees. The desert boot comes in amazing colors for men like the denim, khaki and chili. Great casual sneakers in leather or suede and slip ons with breathable mesh material. The wing tip dress shoes in color block styles are very stylish. I love to see a man dressed up with a shoe like this. Espadrilles, boat shoes and sandals perfect for that getaway.

Visit Clark’s on Twitter:@clarksshoes and on the web at: http://www.clarks.co.uk
Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post but was given an awesome pair of desert boots with pink sole. So chic!! Opinions are mine 100% as always.

@LANDSEND WOMEN’S 2015 SPRING COLLECTION PREVIEW

9 Nov

I was invited to preview Lands End Women’s Spring 2015 Collection. I was excited to see what was in store for the women since I’ve always been a fan of Lands End because of everything they have to offer for the entire family from apparel, outerwear, footwear and home items. This collection is exactly what I’m looking for. Lots of stripes put with khaki or red, white and blue stripes for the 4th of July. Loving the ballet flats, sneakers, paisley tote bags, boat shoes, denim jeans in dark and white, dress shirts with the Lands End logo, polo shirts with printed shirts, floral and cable knit sweaters with shirts, loved the rain coats and the butterfly shorts, beautiful dresses from lace to to floral prints, stripes and amazing neck lines. Accessories a woman could never have enough like the handbags, totes, hats, gloves, scarves and stripe belts. Love the nautical theme look. V-neck sweaters and cardigans with trenches, shorts and sneakers or boat shoes look casual but chic,. The workout clothes colorful and comfortable.whether you’re in a gym, running errands, or bike riding Lands End has the right pieces for you. Lightweight jackets also available.

I own about 3 or 4 Lands End totes but could definitely use more especially with the new colors and styles. I saw at least 5 totes that I want.

Basically with Lands End their apparel, outerwear, footwear and home items will never go out of style. My family and I will continue to be fans. I will be sporting a few of the items from this collection on my cruise.

STAYING #NYTough IN THE BIG APPLE IS A FULL TIME JOB (COMEDY) @CarolinesonBway

30 Sep

A night of comedy is something we all could use once in a while. Laughing is the best medicine. Hubby and I were invited to a night of comedy at Caroline’s on Broadway. We’ve never been to Caroline’s so this was a special treat. We acted like tourists for the day hanging in Times Square, taking pics and buying treats. We met up with our blogger friends and got our laugh on.

Comedians that took the stage were Marlon Wayans (actor, comedian), Sherri Shepherd (former co-host of The View, starring in Broadway’s Cinderella), Michael Che (comedian, co-anchor of SNL’s a Weekend Update), Michelle Buteau (comedian, V H1 Best Week Ever).

P&G and #NYTough played a big part in this night. The comedians performed stand up on what it means to be #NYTough with brands from Bounty, Crest, Dawn, Febreeze, Head & Shoulders, Secret and Tide. The #NYTough campaign gives New Yorkers a break from the unique challenges they face every day in the city with practical solutions provided by the brands I mentioned above. New Yorkers shared their honest and hilarious stories about the tough situations they encounter day-to-day using the hashtag #NYTough.

If you recognize the comedians I mentioned then you know we were laughing all night. We had a blast. I was crying. Sherri and Marlon made eye contact with me while telling their jokes. It was my first time hearing Michelle and Michael live. They all had me in tears and did a wonderful job. I didn’t want the show to end. We could have stayed all night especially with the free appetizers and drinks. Lol.

Marlon took my phone and did a selfie with my blogger buddies at our table. He even retweeted my tweets. Yes he retweets. He is very nice. They all smiled for the cameras and took pics with guests.

My #NYTough situations I encounter are always in the hot, smelly, overcrowded train stations from pushing, bookbags shoving me in my back, smelly breath and underarms, and the horrible underground smells. I throw my clothes in the washing machine as soon as possible with Tide after sitting on the train, spray my pocketbooks with Febreeze, always have Bounty in my bag to hold the handlebar with, make sure I brush with Crest, use Secret deodorant so I smell fresh, Head & Shoulders for the hair and Dawn for my dishes and some clothes because it really gets the grease out.

I go through #NYTough situations everyday so that makes me one tough New Yorker.

We really enjoyed the show and hope to return to Caroline’s on Broadway in the future. It was nice for hubby and I to see a comedy show again. We haven’t seen one in a while.

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. Opinions are mine 100% as always.

I’VE GOT A SECRET I CANT WAIT TO SHARE WITH YOU #secretextensions

25 Sep

The Secret Extensions Media Event was recently held at Paul Labrecque Salon & Spa 171 E 65th St in NYC. If you don’t know what Secret Extensions are well it’s a secret so I can’t tell you but you can go on their website and find out more info. http://www.secretextensions.com

Okay I’ll tell you what it is but I still want you to check out the website.
How many of you know actress /tv personality Daisy Fuentes? She’s the face behind Secret Extensions the patented headband which is completely invisible with hair attached. Thicker, fuller, longer hair in seconds. Secret Extensions are made of an all new keratin conditioned fiber that moves like, feels like, and looks like the real thing! The best part is, Secret Extensions are available in 11 different colors to perfectly blend in with your hair!

I’ve never worn extensions, wigs, or weaves but knew I wanted to give this a try just to see how you can go from limp or thin hair to a full head within seconds. It is very light weight which I loved and the colors match your hair color perfectly unless you want to go lighter or darker or even wear 2 colors at the same time. The extensions are 16″ long. If you want it shorter it can be cut. You can wash it, brush it with a soft bristle flat brush and use a curler or straightener. The string is not replaceable but with the special offer of Buy 1 get the 2nd for $29.99 I’d say it’s worth it to just buy more.

I tried the dark brown and brown black because I have those natural colors in my hair. I might try the light red brown the next time. What I also like is I didn’t have to dye my hair in a salon or get any type of weave or wig and be upset if it wasn’t what I expected. This is easy. Just put on like a headband if I like the color it stays on, if I don’t it’s not a problem just easily take off. No damage done.

I received two different hairstyles at the event and when I got home I tried out a few more. What a difference hair makes. Someone said I looked like a princess. I felt like Rapunzel. I love it and will be sporting my new look with pride. My favorite look is what I tried out which is the side pony. I also love braids. I don’t know how to make a fishbraid but I will have someone make one for me.

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. I was given a swag bag with goodies and hair extensions of course. Opinions are mine 100% as always.

I’M FALLING FOR THE NEW MENU AT OLIVE GARDEN #OGTastes #OliveGarden

24 Sep

As fans of Olive Garden hubby and I always make sure we visit a few times a month. He requested to go for his birthday this month and as always we have a great time enjoying our favorites.

When I found out there was going to be a lunch menu tasting for the media I immediately signed up. I met with other bloggers at the Times Square location in NYC and we sampled 10 courses in an hour. Can I just say I came hungry and left stuffed in a good way.

Earlier this year, Olive Garden unveiled the most significant menu evolution in the restaurant’s history, including more than 20 new menu items that broaden the choice, variety and value it offers guests, prepared with new cooking techniques that accentuate new flavors. Olive Garden’s new menu is designed to appeal to the evolving palettes and preferences of casual dining guests, while providing guests with more options to customize their meal experience at both lunch and dinner.

• Risotto Bites (“Small Plates”) – Bite-sized blend of Italian cheeses and rice, lightly fried and served in marinara sauce.

• Polenta Shrimp alla Greca (“Small Plates”) – Sautéed shrimp served on creamy polenta and topped with a fresh blend of olives, capers and tomato sauce.

• Spicy Calabrian Wings (appetizer) – Chicken wings tossed with garlic and chili peppers from the Italian region of Calabria, served with gorgonzola dipping sauce. Available for a limited time.

• Roasted Tomato Caprese Salad Topper – Fresh mozzarella bites, roasted tomato, bell pepper, basil, kale and an extra-virgin olive oil drizzle.

• Smashed Chicken Meatball Sandwich – Smashed chicken meatballs with roasted bell peppers and mozzarella on a focaccia bun.

• Bucatini with Spicy Three Meat Sauce and Meatballs – Served as part of Never Ending Pasta Bowl. Starting Sept. 22 through Nov. 9, guests can enjoy a variety of more than 150 pasta combinations, plus homemade soup or garden fresh salad and fresh baked garlic breadsticks – all unlimited and starting at just $9.99. Learn more and see additional combinations here.

• Chicken Abruzzi (Olive Garden Specialty, Lighter Italian Fare [under 575 calories]) – Grilled chicken breast in a savory broth simmered with cannellini beans, kale and garden vegetables.

• Grilled Chicken with Butternut Squash Alfredo Fettuccine – Grilled chicken breasts served on a bed of fettuccine tossed with creamy roasted butternut squash alfredo and fresh spinach. Available as part of the fall menu and for a limited time only.

• Pappardelle Pescatore (Olive Garden Specialty) – Sautéed shrimp, bay scallops and clams tossed with pappardelle pasta, fresh asparagus and tomatoes in a creamy red pepper seafood sauce.

• Pumpkin Cheesecake – A seasonal favorite, this is a pumpkin cheesecake topped with whipped cream, caramel sauce and ginger cookie crumbles. Available for a limited time only.

My favorites were the Spicy Calabrian Wings. If you read the description above you see why. I am a spice fanatic and these are off the hook. Just the right spice (for me) you can be the judge. I really hope these stay on the menu forever. Even though they are an appetizer I enjoyed them as an entree with a salad and breadsticks I would be happy. Please Olive Garden keep these Spicy Calabrian Wings.

Polenta Shrimp was another one of my favorites. Everyone that knows me knows shrimp is my number one favorite seafood. I enjoyed this dish very much. The combo of the capers, olives and tomato sauce was very very good.

Smashed Chicken Meatball Sandwich was melting in my mouth. It tasted like a chicken parmigiana sandwich. The roasted peppers and mozzarella cheese really complimented that sandwich.

Bucatini with Spicy Three Meat Sauce and Meatballs. (Mama Mia) This entree had me going back for thirds. Yes thirds. I loved it. Once again anything spicy as long as I can taste the heat is a plus in my recipe book. This is part of the never ending pasta bowl so I will be back before it ends Nov 9. My birthday is in October so it’s all good.

Who goes to a restaurant and not order dessert? Well if you ate everything I mentioned above you would have ordered dessert to go but at least you have it for a midnight snack. This is where the Pumpkin Cheesecake comes in. Yes this is seasonal so I can’t ask Olive Garden to keep it on the menu forever unless I’m the one donating pumpkins year-round and doing the baking. Lol. I tried. I enjoyed my cheesecake very much and maybe for my birthday I can get a whole pumpkin cheesecake. (Wink, wink). Delicioso!!!

New Dinner Menu Highlights:

· Fall Flavors: Celebrate the flavors of fall with Olive Garden’s brand-new Grilled Chicken Butternut Squash Alfredo Fettuccine and the return of guest-favorite, Pumpkin Cheesecake.

· Small Plates: Expanding the Tastes of Italy section to include eight small plate dishes for guests who want to explore different flavors.

· Antipasti and Caprese Salads: Creating new ways for guests to enjoy Olive Garden’s popular signature salad through the addition of antipasti or caprese toppings.

· Lighter Italian Fare: Enhancing variety within the under-575-calories menu section by introducing additional dishes for calorie-counting guests.

· Specialty Entrees: Bringing new culinary-forward entrees to the chicken and seafood sections of the menu, enhanced by preparation on a new Piastra flat-top grill for a more evenly cooked, tender and juicy taste.

I had a wonderful time stuffing my face and learning about the new fall flavors and under 575 calories menu. The manager and servers were friendly and always made sure we had something on our plates and in our glasses. I also won a $25 gift card for participating in a social media contest while at the restaurant. My birthday meal is looking pretty good thanks to Olive Garden.

Disclosure: I wasn’t compensated for this post. Opinions are always mine 100%. I received lunch, a t- shirt and won a gift card.

Dolphin Tale 2, @themoms @cruisenorwegian WE’RE GOING ON A CRUISE! #NorwegianMOMS

15 Sep

Did you hear the news? Dolphin Tale 2 is in theaters. My kids and I attended a special screening with @TheMoms at the Warner Brothers screening room Sept 10th. We never seen the first movie but that wasn’t stopping us from seeing part 2. Cast included Harry Connick Jr., Ashley Judd, Kris Kristofferson and Morgan Freeman. My kids ages 7 and 11 enjoyed the movie because they are fans of dolphins so I didn’t hear a peep out of them. I was in tears on a few scenes in the movie when one of the dolphins passed away and when one of the care takers got injured. You get to see how dolphins react to certain obstacles that occur in their lives. Dolphins are very smart. I would love to swim with dolphins.

Younger kids under 7 may ask quite a few questions throughout the movie or might not understand what’s going on but as parents we expect that. I think when they see the pelican named “Rufus” and the very huge tortoise they will be asking for one throughout the rest of the movie. My kids definitely wanted the tortoise and so did I.

There are a lot of decisions that have to be made for the dolphin “Winter’s” sake. Harry Connick Jr was great. Morgan Freeman wasn’t in too many scenes by he did have some funny lines and I enjoyed seeing him.

I will find the first Dolphin Tale and we will watch it as a family . We enjoyed Dolphin Tale 2 which ended on a happy note.

The Moms partnered with Norwegian Cruise Line and they are giving families a chance to win Norwegian Experience. They will be at attending a few MAMARAZZI events and one lucky family will win a cruise. They were present at this event and everyone including myself entered to win.
I went in with a positive attitude saying I’m winning this for my family. We’ve never been on a cruise and I had to win this.

You want to know who’s name was announced? MY NAME!!!!! Nichol Perez won the 7 day cruise!!! YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! My kids and I were so happy I’m still in shock. They have me on video jumping up and down, screaming and gratefully accepting my prize. Check out the video of The Moms announcing me as the winner and three other families won tickets to go see The Rockettes.

I hope this link works: http://themoms.com/norwegian-cruise-line-giveaway-with-the-moms/ I just want to thank The Moms and Norwegian and can’t wait to book our cruise and enjoy family quality relaxation time at sea.

Don’t forget to check out Dolphin Tale 2 and Norwegian Cruise Line and book your cruise and keep up with The Moms and you could be the next winner too.

RUUM AMERICAN KIDSWEAR HOLIDAY 2014 #ruumfashion @ruumkidswear

29 Aug

I was invited to Ruum American Kidswear Holiday 2014 Press Preview at the Ace Hotel in lower Manhattan. Having went to a previous preview and Sample Sale I was very excited to see the holiday collection. At the Sample Sale I purchased tons of clothes for my daughter for only $50. She loved everything I picked out. I love everything about Ruum clothes. The prices are very, very affordable, the styles are amazing, very comfortable, variety of designs and colors and your son or daughter will be the talk of the school or event they attend.

i noticed a lot of beautiful shiny dresses for the holiday, faux fur which i will make sure to get for my daughter, fringed boots, studded boots, doc marten floral boots, plaid shirts which my daughter loves and i love seeing plaid on girls. I love wearing it too. These plaid shirts had rhinestones for the girls and for the boys a heavy material to keep warm in the winter.Hats with hashtags on them and headphones printed on. Scarves with stars, Camouflage which never goes out of style. All different styles of jeans for boys and girls that weren’t hard but soft material for kids to move around comfortably without being constricted. I loved the red shearling motorcycle jacket paired with camouflage jeans.

There was also a section for the Rockstars. Black, leather, stars, silver, dresses, jackets, hats and boots. I know a lot of kids into the rockstar look. The Tres Chic look was a hit for the girly girly. The cable knit sweater and hat combo with the tutu skirt was another one of my favorites. I saw half of a denim romper with a tutu attached. Loved it!

From the look of the collection stars, hearts, hashtags and plaid is going to be very popular with the kids. My daughter already picked out everything she wants (which is everything) lol. There was a cape I saw that said SUPER on it that I will purchase for my daughter as well. I wish they had that in my size. I also adore how stripes and plaids were mixed together and created a fun outfit.

I am ready to start shopping now. Are you? Also just announced, Ruum has a pop up store (showRUUM) at 1153 Madison Avenue at 85th street. They will have fall holiday styles for kids ages 2 – 12. With every purchase you receive a free pair of sunglasses. If you are in Manhattan stop by and if not shop online or at one of their other 26 stores across the country. For locations go on their website.

Check out http://www.ruum.com and @RUUMkidswear on Twitter.

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. I was invited to the press review and given swag items. Opinions are always mine 100%.

MY BLOGGER BASH RECAP #BBNYC #KIDZVUZBTS #SWEETSUITE14

11 Aug

When I purchased a ticket to Blogger Bash Conference I knew I was going to have fun for two-days playing with toys, connecting with sponsors, stuffing my face and taking home lots of great swag. Once I saw the list of sponsors and blogger friends attending and encouraged even more bloggers to come I was so excited and counting the days.

Day 1, Sweet Suite kicked off the conference/party with lots of great sponsors. Kidz Bop Kids welcomed us into the building and signed an autographed picture for us to take home. We also were directed to the badge table where we got to decorate and personalize our name badge courtesy of Crayola. Hasbro, Activision, Razor, Lego, Crayola, Just Play, HexBug, Creativity for Kids, Faber-Castell, Jazwares, Techno Source (Kurio), Play Vision, Boogie Board, Uncle Milton, Bananagrams, Tech 4 Kids, Spin Master and Disney Infinity were a few of my favorites. I enjoyed talking to the reps and playing with toys, taking pictures, and learning about the new toys coming out this year. I even won a Kurio tablet for my kids after skiing on one of the cool apps on their device. It comes out in October so they are excited to get it. Crayola came in handy for back to school. I’ve always used Crayola even when I was little so it was nice to talk with them. They even had tables set up to let us decorate lunch bags for our kids to take home. Razor showed their new scooters and my daughter would flip for the light up one they showed. It’s not out yet but I’m sure the rep said September or October. I’ve always wanted a Boogie Board for the kids. I’ve seen them in Costco but never purchased one. I was glad to see the reps there and learn more about it. Jazwares was a must because my kids love Minecraft and I had to make it my business to connect with them. My daughter loves arts and crafts, drawing, painting and Faber-Castell high quality products are just right for her to show her creative side. Bananagrams is an Anagram game that will keep my kids busy on the road or just hanging out at home, a friends house, or at the park. I also have a back to school picnic coming up that will be great to bring with us too. Just Play had Care Bear come to life and I got to take a picture and even won a huge Care Bear that was sent to my house. I also loved Doc McStuffins toys. My daughter is a huge fan. Hasbro wouldn’t be Hasbro with My Little Pony toys which my daughter is obsessed with. Activision’s Skylander game is on my son’s wish list. I even want that game. Lego is a must in our family. We love building and these keep us busy as a family. I love the new Marvel and DC Comic Superheroes Lego figures. Tech 4 Kids booth had the WWE rumble fists, and punching bag that were a big hit. Spin Master never lets me down and I am biting my nails for the new doll Chatsters to come out this fall. I asked the representative at Spin Master how they came up with the idea for Chatsters. She explained she was born from a focus group of little girls. They were asked what they would like in a doll. She is so cute and perfect for tech savvy girls. She communicates with you through her interactive glasses which are mini LED screens. In addition to interacting with you she will also respond to her dog (Boomer), lipstick and other accessories. Her glasses can play mini games too. Chatster will have her own app where you can discover her other features and she can even text you for free through the app, no data charges will apply. HexBug previewed its new line of Vex Robotics. My kids are fans of the Aquabot 2.0 robotic fish. I need to order more because one is definitely not enough. I also want to get the fish tank as well. Uncle Milton toys brought along their new Frozen room decor. My daughter will enjoy this decor in her room. Disney Infinity hooked everyone up with a Preview Edition Tinkerbell 2.0 Figure. What a great collectors item.

Skylanders Trap Team invited everyone Into their suite with video games, photo opps with one of the characters and delicious cupcakes.

Angry Birds Stella After Party was just right to end the day with. All the bloggers gathered in a beautifully decorated room with a DJ playing great music old and new, food from Taco Bell which I personally don’t eat, hot dogs, humungous cookies with Stella Angry Bird face on it, drinks, etc. We danced to all the songs and had a great time. Of course we didn’t want the party to end but we knew we had Day 2 to attend and we needed our rest.

Day 2 started with a Bat-tastic breakfast by Lego Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham #LEGOBatmanGame
I enjoyed learning about this new game and playing this action packed adventure game with friends. Buffet breakfast was yummy with a variety of hot and cold foods and drinks.

We had a speed dating session with brands where we sat down face to face and learned about their products up close and personal in the 2.5 hour session. We went table to table to brands that participated. I was able to ask questions, leave my business card, and receive important info.

Chicken Soup for the Soul had food demos that showcased new Chicken Soup line of food products. The food was delicious. I personally loved the meatballs but everything was delicious.

EA Events Social Suite was the place to be if you wanted manicures, makeup touch ups from Cover Girl, Jet Set dress by Lisa Maree, arm candy from Joseph Nogucci, lip gloss by Cover Girl as well, goodies from Washdrops (car wash solution), AutoTex Pink wiper blades, Wubble Bubble Ball demos, Alex Lemonade Stand samples (I also donated). Smokey The Bear was there taking pics and celebrating his 70th birthday.

Korus kept everyone dancing when they demoed their wireless, portable speakers and had a contest where you bring your playlist on your smartphone and play DJ so you could try and win a speaker or a set.

MZ Wallace had a collection of their handbags and totes on display. The VIP attendees received a free handbag. (Jealous) I’ve seen this handbag around and always wanted one but never knew the name. Now I know and I still want one and a few of the gorgeous totes too. There’s even a farmer’s market tote available now. I hope to own a few handbags and totes one day.

Wow Wee had MIP the toy robot at their station . I love robots and this will definitely be on my kids wish list.

Anne Geddes world renowned photographer was at Baby Palooza to talk and her family attended. She autographed copies of her book and was a pleasure to meet.

KidzVuz Back To School was strictly for the kids and my kids made sure to be in attendance. They were waiting for this for weeks and I was glad they got to experience this fun event. I am also glad Blogger Bash thought of the kids when planning this conference.

So many great sponsors for the kids to run around to. My son made it his business to stop at Microsoft first. He loves technology and wanted to see what new tablets or laptops they had in store. He was very impressed after speaking with the rep and now wants one of course. Lands End had kids put together a back to school outfit and pose for the camera. I loved all the clothes and accessories. My daughter even had the chance to model in a back to school fashion show the next month wearing Lands End and got to keep all the pieces. She loved it and did a great job!!! My daughter spotted glitter and ribbons and made her way to Star Stable to get a hair makeover. She also got to play this game on the iPad that was provided to keep kids occupied . It’s an online adventure horse game. She enjoyed it and loved her hair makeover. School Specialty the arts & craft supply store had a money booth with fake money that kids entered and was timed to grab as much fake money as possible so they could collect school supplies when finished. Parents even got to go in too. There were no losers and my kids had a ball. They racked up on school supplies. Hasbro had all the toys my daughter wanted. Littlest Pet Shop is one of her favorites. UniKey can turn my smartphone into a universal key. Attach a Kevo fob to your child’s backpack for easy, convenient access to the home. I would love this for my family. I hate looking for my keys or losing them in the house. This would make things so easier. Speck handed out cell phone and iPad mini cases. Their cases have been protecting my iPhone and iPad mini for years. Love the colors and designs.

Make My Cake handed out cupcakes which were amazing. I live a few blocks away from them so we enjoyed having them at Blogger Bash.

After running around to all the sponsors all the kids were given Lands End book bags and a bunch of toys.
Everyone who attended Sweet Suite was also sent a box full of awesome toys to their house. The kids couldn’t wait for that. They loved everything in the box. Something for everyone. I put a video of my daughter opening the box on social media. My daughter also made videos with KidzVuz discussing and reviewing her favorite toys.

I’d like to thank everyone connected with Blogger Bash for a great time. I hope it returns to NY again.

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. Opinions are 100% mine as always. My kids and I received lots of swag.
