I begin each morning at 4 a.m. so I can prepare a delicious healthy meal for my family. I was asked to come up with a Star Wars themed recipe using General Mills cereal. We chose the Trix cereal and got creative in the kitchen. We wanted something that took little time to make. What could we turn cereal into? We chose Popsicles. It’s cool and on hot days and it only took seven-minutes to freeze.
Ingredients:
Trix cereal
Greek yogurt
Milk
That’s it. Depending on your Popsicle maker you will have to see how much of each ingredient you use. I put some cereal in a measuring cup with a few teaspoons of Greek yogurt and a splash of milk. Mix together and pour in your Popsicle maker. The mix shouldn’t be took thick, so not too much yogurt. It took me a few times till I got it right. I will add more cereal next time. You can try any cereal that you like. We liked the way the colors looked with the Trix cereal in the Popsicles. The kids acted like the Popsicles were lightsabers. We had fun creating this and eating the Popsicles of course. We’ve already collected posters and won’t stop till we find all of them. We have three more to go. May the force be with you!!
