I HAD A #FITFABFLY DAY @Chaisefitness @92Y

15 May

Brianne Manz of Stroller in the City invited bloggers to join her in a class called Chaisse Fitness “Fit, Fab, and Fly” at the 92Y. I had no problem getting out my workout gear. I thought, “I’ve taken exercise classes before, how hard could this be”? Let me tell you, I thought hubby kicked my butt when we work out, and he does don’t get me wrong but this class had me working all parts of my body I didn’t even know I had. First of all you have a mother, daughter team. Lauren, who was raised by a ballerina, was a competitive figure skater, also ran a popular private Pilates studio. She wanted to bring Pilates into the modern upbeat vibe of New York.

Lauren’s daughter Rachel a successful ballet career took an unexpected turn. Her body started shutting down. She struggled with her body and weight after she stopped dancing. She was going to give up when her mother “Lauren” began developing the Reinvention Method. They experimented and created a new type of fitness that brought her body back to where it was when she was dancing, but even stronger and healthier.

The Reinvention Method is infused with elements of Pilates, ballet, and aerobics with the addition of the overhead bungees. Chaise Fitness creates long lean muscles, increases flexibility, and ultimately transforms your body to the best it can be.

I think if I took this class 5 days a week I will definitely see a big improvement. I know my body can be transformed. This class is made for reinventing my body. I sweated my butt off. Let me also tell you, I felt all my muscles aching for the next two to three days, especially but butt. Lol. That bungee ain’t no joke. Who knew this teeny tiny lady could push me so hard and take my body to a whole new level. It was the best class ever!!! Lauren is funny, sweet, and encouraging. The music was great and the class at the 92Y holds about 13 people so it’s intimate and I felt very comfortable.

This class is definitely on my “go back to list.” If you saw the instructors you would had never thought there was an issue with their weight. Thank you Lauren Piskin for a great workout!! Thank you Brianne for introducing me to this awesome class at the 92Y which wasn’t far from me.

That was just part of the day. After class we were treated to salad and wraps from Chop’t. They were amazing and after that workout I very much needed it. Follow them on Twitter @chopt or on their website at http://www.choptsalad.com

There were also vendors available for us to get our makeup and nails done. I had both done. The company for this treat was called Priv. They will come to your house, office, wherever you are if you need a blowout, manicure, or makeup done. Check them out on their website http://www.gopriv.com

I especially liked the Zen green Eco friendly products to be used in your home. Their products are toxin -free and completely natural to reduce chemical risk. They gave out samples to take home and I love the products. They smell great with flavors like lavender and vanilla. Check them out online at http://www.zenhomecleaning.com

Blueprint Cleanse is the very first line of juice cleanses to offer varying levels of intensity depending on one’s dietary habits and history. It’s a user-friendly system of cleansing set up to be practical for all nutritional lifestyles, from the most austere of raw food acolytes to the burger-and-red-wine crowd looking to periodically offset the damages of their indulgence. And it all started with a cold.

BluePrintCleanse will gently rid your body of impurities, regain an alkaline balance and normalize digestion and metabolism. Too often, a cleanse stirs up detox symptoms that are far too intense for the “average” person. BPC is designed for people that would like to give their insides a rest while simultaneously going on about their daily lives. One needn’t gamble with extremes to feel the benefits of a cleanse. http://www.Blueprintcleanse.com is their website.

ROAD TRIP TO PHILLY FOR THE #MomMixer EVENT

3 May

On Saturday April 26th, a couple of my besties and I took a road trip to Philly for the Mom Mixer Event hosted by Whitney Wingerd & Colleen Padilla. It was held at the Four Seasons hotel. We were scheduled for the 12- 2 p.m. session. We had a great time traveling, seeing the sights, and girl talk. I checked the weather before we left so I knew Philly weather was going to be nice in the 70’s. I was excited to talk to the brands who were in attendance.

CVS had loads of goodies for everyone to enjoy like their famous chocolate chip cookies, juices, protein bars, trail mix, dried fruit, chili lime almonds, and plenty more snacks from their Gold Emblem line. CVS has everything I need and I am glad I am within walking distance from my house.

Kids headquarters came through with brands from Under Armour clothing for infants and kids. I scored shorts, and a iron man t-shirt for my daughter, and onesies for my cousin. My whole family loves Under Armour. Tommy Hilfiger was also another brand featured at their table.

Mc D Philly (McDonald’s) restaurant were handing out hot coffee and coupons for free meals. I couldn’t wait to get a cup of their McCafe coffee.

Hershey Park told us about the new rides coming this year like the Cocoa Cruiser (roller coaster), Tea Cups, and the Sweet Swing. My family and I can’t wait to go and try these new rides. I haven’t been to Hershey Park in years, and my kids keep asking to go so this has to be the year. There also was a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup mascot taking pictures with attendees. We tried to take a bite out of it. Lol.

Charm It is the original, detachable charm brand for girls ages 5-14. I love the necklace with all the charms and bracelets. My daughter will want to collect all of them. But I know she will especially want anything ballerina, princess, and cupcakes. She can’t wait to start her collection. Charm It is having a contest where your little one can Design-A-Charm. Check it out on Twitter @Charm_It Hurry ends May 21st.

Academy of Natural Sciences had a table with dinosaur bones, and teeth. My kids would have loved to have seen it. I definitely want to bring them back to explore. They gave us free passes so another road trip with the kids is a must.

The 3 Day (Susan G Komen) came out to encourage everyone to get involved and walk for breast cancer in Philly. I told the girls we need to do this. Another road trip but for a good cause. I want to show support and wear pink and represent. We can go as Blogger Walkers.

Visionworks provided eye exams and showed us their Eco friendly line of glasses. They also gave us a free pair of sunglasses to take home. They have over 620 optical retail stores in 40 states. I am due for new reading glasses and can’t wait to connect with them. Check out their website vision works.com

Stella & Dot showed us beautiful jewelry, bags, clutches, and scarves in bright colors, and a variety of prints. I wanted the whole collection. My friend won a tote bag.

You know we couldn’t go to Philly without getting Geno’s delicious cheesesteaks. We also had to take pictures like tourists.

I went to Philly last year with hubby and the kids for another event and we had a great time. I think Philly will be a yearly thing from now on.

The gift bags were fabo and I’d like to thank Colleen and Whitney for the invite. I had a great time!!

TRAVEL TRENDS EVENT WITH @Momtrends #trendytravel

3 May

I don’t get away as much as I would like to but I made it my business to “Getaway with Momtrends” at Butterfly Studio on April 28th. I was invited to learn about the latest travel attire, take off tips, on the go gear, hairstyling tips, and family travel planning. This event was not to be missed.

I started with a dry hair styling session appointment. I never had a fishtail and always wanted one but my stylist took it up a notch. She made a high pony with the fishtail then wrapped it in a bun with pins. It looked great. It was off my neck and stayed in place the entire night. I still have to learn how to make a fishtail though.

Butterfly Studio hooked a lot of the bloggers up with cute hairstyles, and my favorite were the pony tails. I especially liked Nicole Feliciano’s pony.

20140503-090614.jpg

Butterfly Studio showed all the tricks and easy to do hairstyles that’s great for everyday or when traveling. These styles looked like they took hours to do but were done in a few minutes. I know when the summer comes I like my hair off my face but also looking good in a bun or pony tail. Also using the right products to get volume and less frizz is important as well. They are located in the city and can be found at Butterflystudiosalon.com

Kim-Marie Evans taught me a lot about how to book vacations, who to book them with, and the most important how to get the most for your money. Who knew that booking group tours are actually more better than a vacation on your own. You get to do and see things that would never happen if you went on your own like dining with the locals in their homes, and maybe visiting an artist and taking home a piece of art directly from the artist. Britax always have the best baby gear and accessories for parents. I love their car seats and strollers. I love the colors of the strollers, and the cow print color of the car seat. They are releasing a new stroller called BOB revolutionary stroller. It has an expandable handle for those tall dads, and a handle brake which is awesome. I also love how it closes up in the push of a button. Wheels are sturdy enough even for the sand on the beach. The wheels also can be locked for jogging or unlocked to swivel when strolling around. Accessories are a must have for strollers and cars. Check out all the latest products at Britax.com

Trunk was also in the house introducing their water-resistant swim backpack called PaddlePak that comes designed looking like sea creatures for the kids. Very lightweight and durable but can pack a lot. There’s one that looks like Nemo but it’s actually called Clown Fish Chuckles that I’m sure will be a huge hit. I loved Octopus Inky for my daughter and the Shark PaddlePak for my son which is larger than the other ones. The Whale and Shark are the larger PaddlePaks. Prices are $25 for the small and $30 for the large. For ages 2 and up these are great for camping, the beach, travel, parks, etc. Keeps thing from getting wet and parents won’t have to carry it because your kids won’t want to put it down.

Miraclesuit made sure they showed the ladies the must have swimwear and we got to enjoy a fashion show with cute sarongs, and bright color swimsuits. We don’t have to hide our figures because Miraclesuit makes us look 10 pounds lighter in 10 seconds no matter what size. They have one piece swimsuits, tankini tops, swim dresses, cover ups, and so on. I picked out a cute little number that I will be rocking this year on the beach. Head to Miraclesuit.com and pick some up.

Adirondack Creamery was on board to treat us to their amazing farm fresh, local, all natural ice cream in amazing flavors like , Banana Chip, Kulfi-Pistachio Cardamom, and Caramel Apple. But those are just a few flavors they have. I loved it so much they hand delivered me ice cream to my door yesterday. I was so excited to share with my family. Anything all natural and farm fresh is supported in my house. A few of the stores you can purchase this from is Whole Foods, and Fairway Market. Also for the holidays they have Pumpkin Pie, and Egg Nog which I can’t wait to try. Here is the website to read all about their story and other flavors, Adirondackcreamery.com

FUN ON THE RED CARPET FOR THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 #SpiderMan @themoms

30 Apr

April 24th @themoms had the invites of all invites. We were invited to the Red Carpet at the Ziegfeld Theater to meet cast members and celebrities for “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” I along with 3 of my children were beyond excited and ready for lots of pictures and maybe an autograph or two. We were led to the bleachers once we received our VIP passes that allowed us on the Red Carpet. We also received our screening tickets to see the movie at the Sony Screening Room a few blocks away. Before the screening the kids had a pizza party and played Spider-Man video games. The swag bags they received were very, very nice. Also on the Red Carpet we received t- shirts, water, posters, cast members fans, and stickers.

It was a long afternoon/evening. We waited for celebrities to make it down to us after posing for pictures, talking to media, then waving, smiling, and hopefully running over for a picture with us. It was cold that day and I did manage to get a few pictures but I also had to make sure we made it on time to the Sony building for the movie and party so we stayed an hour and a half.

I wanted to get a picture of Jamie Foxx but I wasn’t able to wait for him. I did get a picture with him when he was filming Annie by my house, so I can’t say I never met him. His daughter had on makeup like his character “Electro” in the movie. She’s so cute. Speaking of Jamie’s character, we absolutely loved it. He did an excellent job playing the needy nerd. “Electro is just what this movie needed and I’m glad Jamie Foxx was a part of it. All the cast members did a great job. I didn’t see Emma Stone on the Red Carpet. I think she was running late. Andrew Garfield was there but not close enough for me to ask for a picture with him. I love how Andrew (Peter Parker) and Emma (Gwen) have that chemistry on the screen that makes you go “young love.” They connect and act very well together no wonder they are a couple off screen too. Dane DeHaan plays (Harry Osborn). I didn’t trust his character in the movie but he’s a good actor. I didn’t like the character he turned into which was gross looking but hey, “they can’t all be cute evil people.” Love Sally Field as “May Parker.” She always oblivious to what’s going on. You gotta love her, she’s a riot. I would love to see this movie again. Powerful, action packed, exciting. I won’t give away any juicy parts.

This movie opens in theaters May 2, 2014. Get tickets early. They will sell out.
Enjoy the pictures from the Red Carpet.
Do you recognize anyone?
Thank you to @themoms for the invite. My kids and I really enjoyed ourselves.

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. Opinions are mine as always. We received food, tickets, and swag bags.

WENDY WILLIAMS MAMARAZZI WITH BURLINGTON #BurlingtonOOTD @themoms

30 Apr

I was invited to a special evening with Wendy Williams, and Burlington at The Hudson Bond April 23rd but didn’t make it in time. I was disappointed because not only did I miss seeing Wendy, I also wanted to show my outfit off on the red carpet that I purchased because Burlington sent me a $50 gift card and I was able to pick out 2 blouses and a skirt. I went over by $7 but that was okay. Burlington prices are so low I wasn’t concerned.

When I met Wendy the first time she had a book released and now she’s dine it again with her new novel “Hold Me In Contempt.” Just from the title I was ready to start reading, but like I said I didn’t make it so I wasn’t able to get a copy. However, my friend who did make it let me hold her copy to read and now I have a few days to relax and enjoy the book.

From the pictures I saw that were taken at the event Wendy goes all out when it comes to her style of dressing and her wigs. I heard she gave fashion advice, and chatted with everyone like they were all girlfriends. I promise not to miss anymore Wendy events in the future. I also promise to read her book ASAP.

I’d like to than @themoms for the invite and @Burlington for the gift card. Put a gift card in my hand in a room full of clothes and I’ll take off full speed. I love shopping!!!

Check out BurlingtonCoatFactory.com for the latest styles, and brand names for up to 65% off department stores.

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. I was given a $50 gift card courtesy of Burlington. Opinions are 100% mine.

MY KIDS #POWERUP WITH DANIMALS SUPERSTARS GREEK LOWFAT YOGURT

25 Apr

Dannon recently launched the new Danimals SuperStars Greek Lowfat Yogurt. My kids, cousin, and I were excited to attend the launch and try out their new product. I’ve always loved yogurt and my kids eat nonfat yogurt. The Greek lowfat yogurt would be something new for them to try. There a variety of flavors to try and my kids seemed to have liked the Cotton Candy flavor the most. I liked the Strawberry Slide.

Dr. Tanya R. Altmann talked to the group about nutrition. She said kids need 15-25 grams of protein a day, depending on their age. Adults need 50 grams. Kids also need 3 servings of dairy products a day. With this Greek yogurt you can make a smoothie, dip, milkshake, or substitute the cream cheese on a bagel with the yogurt. Physical activity is important and should be 1 hr a day for kids. Sports is great for learning to interact with other people, following instructions, and getting along with other people. Role modeling healthy habits is important because whatever you do kids will follow.

Growing up I remember my father telling me I couldn’t get up from the table till I finished everything on my plate. Was he being a good parent for saying that? Was he really concerned about me eating healthy, or did the thought of me wasting food something he didn’t approve of? Well I can honestly say the food he was feeding me was not that healthy, and I think he used to say “there are kids starving out here so don’t waste your food.” Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t junk food he was giving me. It was more like steak and potatoes, Spanish dishes, flan for dessert, an occasional octopus which I’m pretty sure I told my mom I’m not eating that. Lol.

What I’m trying to say is in the present now that I have kids and have learned what’s good and not good for my kids, I wouldn’t give them anything I wouldn’t eat. I don’t think my parents were reading labels on products back in the 70’s. If they only knew what chemicals were going into our bodies I’m sure they would have not fed it to us.

When I go into the grocery stores the first thing I look for on labels is “high fructose corn syrup.” If it doesn’t contain that or any artificial flavors and I think it can benefit my kids I will get it. If I knew what soda had in it I wouldn’t have drunk it when I was growing up. I gave it up years ago and it is banned from our house.

My kids are very active at school and after. There’s not a day that goes by when they are running, jumping, playing, or just singing. They love outdoor activities, and I love taking them on adventures. We like to explore and find new things to do. I make sure that my kids are fed a healthy breakfast that would keep them satisfied till lunch. Every kid is different when it comes to food. My daughter loves her fruits, my son loves his eggs, and waffles, my other son likes breakfast sandwiches, and my oldest will grab coffee and eat when he gets to work.

Danimals SuperStars Greek Lowfat Yogurts can help provide kids with the nutrition they need. Each cup is a good source of calcium and Vitamin D, which help build strong bones, along with an excellent source of protein (25 percent of the Daily Value). Also, similar to other Danimals products, Danimals SuperStars has no artificial colors or flavors and no high fructose corn syrup.

Each cup of Danimals SuperStars will help fuel even more than young bodies. With educational and Power Up fun facts found under the lid of each cup, Danimals is helping stimulate children’s minds as well!

Danimals SuperStars is available in 4oz 4-count packs in five delicious flavors made specifically for kids, including: Strawberry Slide, Strawberry Banana Sprint, Cotton Candy Thrill, Mixed Berry Half-Pipe and Cherry Rush.

In addition to playing outdoors on a regular basis, it’s important for kids to eat well and get the right balance of foods in their diet, such as dairy, which includes nutrients like calcium. Kids can get calcium from products such as Danimals Greek lowfat yogurts, nonfat yogurts and dairy smoothies.

Danimals dairy products make snacking fun – they taste great. Kids will love Powering Up with Danimals SuperStars, experiencing the burst of fruity flavor in Danimals Smoothies, and mixing fun toppings from Crunchers into delicious nonfat yogurt. All Danimals products contain a good source of Calcium and Vitamin D, which help kids build strong bones and regulate muscle function. The 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans identify calcium as a nutrient of concern for American adults and children, and recommend increasing intake of foods that provide it.

We enjoyed the day with Dannon and trying the new flavors. I will be buying my kids their favorite flavors and I will stashing a few for myself as well.

SAFE KIDS DAY (awareness about preventable injuries) #SafeKidsDay

19 Apr

On Saturday afternoon, April 12, Safe Kids Worldwide held its second annual Safe Kids Day at The Highline Stages in NYC to help raise funds and awareness about preventable injuries, the number one killer of children in the United States. My kids and I were excited to attend and learn how to prevent injuries. (Safety first). I also invited my cousin along to join in on the fun.

Special guests in attendance included: Cristen & Nigel Barker (host, The Face), Genevieve Gorder (host, HGTV’s Dear Genevieve), Felipe Lopez (retired basketball player), Bellamy & Tallulah Novogratz (HGTV’s Home by Novogratz), Alysia Reiner (Orange is the New Black) & David Basche (The Exes), Nick Stevenson (Orange is the New Black), and more.

Guests were treated to a “carnival” themed event featuring booths with classic games and experiences that helped promote child safety. The festive atmosphere invited families to participate in different activities including a Fun House with an oversized “in the eyes of a child” kitchen, an Imagination Playground, face painting, balloon making, and more. “Click” the Talking Carseat Fortune Teller was a big hit with kids of all ages, utilizing his comedic wit to teach children about the importance of wearing a seatbelt; and there was a cool, virtual-reality car game to help teach kids about road safety.

My kids had fun at the oversized basketball court that were available as soon as we walked in. If you got the ball in the hoop kids were given a sticker to put in their booklet. Your booklet had to contain a sticker from each station in order to receive a prize at the end. Former NBA star Felipe Lopez was on hand to help some of the shorter children slam-dunk oversized basketballs. This station emphasized safety on the playground.

The giant ball pit was a favorite for my kids who put on life jackets and jumped in. This station focused on water safety. All the kids looked as if they were swimming and just having an amazing time. Even the smallest kids were adorable. My kids dived right in. (No shoes allowed).

There were face painting stations that my kids made it their business to get their arms painted with amazing art work.

There was even a stunt bike show by professional biker Chris Clark. Even professionals must wear helmets and that was demonstrated in his heart racing, mouth dropping performance. Bell Bike Helmets were at the event to provide kids ages 1 and up with helmets for bike safety. My kids were excited to get a cool helmet.

My son and cousin tried out the driving simulator courtesy of General Motors, and Chevrolet. My daughter sat in the back seat. The kids also sat on a real fire truck parked outside and received a fire hat. (Not a real one).

There were other fun games and entertainment for the kids as well. We also were treated to food at the food trucks that were parked outside for the guests. Uncle Gussy’s amazing Greek food provided us with gyros, Greek fries, and cheeseburgers. Gorilla Cheese had delicious tater tots and grilled cheese nice and hot and gooey. Yum!!! Coolhaus kept everyone nice and cool on that hot day with their gourmet ice cream sandwiches. Fed Ex parked outside with gift bags for guests.

It was a great turnout for Safe Kids Day and just want to thank everyone for putting this event together and for the invite. Can’t wait for the next one!!

Safe Kids Day was presented by Children’s Tylenol, with support from the General Motors Foundation, FedEx, Chevrolet, and others.

I HAD A HONDA FIT EXPERIENCE #FitForYou

19 Apr

I was excited to be invited to a VIP Honda Fit experience on April 15th to test out the new 2015 Honda Fit. When I arrived at Skylight West the first thing I noticed was the size of the cars. I loved it. Very compact, loved the colors, and I could easily find parking with no problem in one if these. Don’t let the size fool you. Even though it looked small it can hold a lot. They were demonstrating how it can hold 15 bean bags with the seats folded down. Love the cargo space. The front passenger seat once folded flat can hold a 9 ft. long surfboard and 2 6 ft. surfboards all at the same time. The driver’s seat also folds down and can be used to lounge and watch movies while waiting for your passengers. Hubby would like that. He’s very tall so any car that’s roomy enough for him is a plus. Legroom and headroom are important.

You can plug your smartphone into the car, and the Honda Link system has HDMI connectivity that allows you to watch movies and listen to music on your 7- inch screen while you’re parked. (Safety first). It also comes with Apple’s Siri hands free interface.

I was impressed with 41 MPG on the highway, and the 33 MPG in the city. Every 2015 Honda Fit also comes standard with the multi- angle rear view camera with 3 viewing modes. (Wide, normal, and top down ). I love the color blue they use on the dashboard that increases visibility and high quality feel. Honda’s linked satellite navigation system with continually updated traffic information is great. Loved how easy it was to use.

The new Lane Watch feature is very cool. It shows a view of the lane next to you on the dashboard. The camera is under the mirror and blind spot areas are minimized by expanded driver’s view mirror and Lane Watch. I took a picture when my friends and I took the car out. (I was not driving at that particular time).

Living in NY can get hectic when it comes to driving with traffic and finding a big enough parking spot. The Honda Fit will definitely come in handy. After my friends and I went for a test drive we saw how much power this car had, how much legroom we had, and how easy it was to use the navigation, and squeeze through tight spaces. It is definitely #fitforthecity #fitfortechnology #fitforduty and #fitforyou

Honda also treated us to breakfast and lunch which was amazing. I had a great time and hope to own a Honda Fit one day. My kids want me to have a car but my wallet says otherwise. Lol. I would love to travel if I owned a car. Get to your local Honda dealer and test drive. Also check out the New York International Auto Show at Jacob Javits Center going on now till April 27th and see it in person. I put a few pics from the Auto Show below.

Thank you Honda, Ellen, Shannon, and Blitz for a look at what’s in store for the 2015 Honda Fit. Thank you Denise for the recommending me.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE 2015 KIA SEDONA? #WhatsYourSedona #spon

17 Apr

I received an email invite to the KIA New York International Auto Show Reception hat just took place on Wednesday, April 16. I had to double check to make sure this was real. I wasn’t dreaming. I was beyond excited to know I was going to get a chance to check out the new 2015 Kia Sedona. When it comes to cars and my family safety is first on the list and I knew this was the event I had to attend.

Hubby and I made our way to SIR Stage 37 and walked into a room full of people and a burlesque, carnival themed night. Acrobatics, hula hoops, and a lady that could fit her whole body in a balloon was amazing to see. There were food, drinks, and a DJ as well. The honoree of the night (2105 Kia Sedona) was center stage. I wanted to jump right in and take it for a test drive.

This mid- sized multipurpose vehicle is just what I’ve been looking for. With seating for up to eight passengers, and optional “first class” second row seats with footrests that can slide back and forth and rotate to face the back row.The Sedona is powered by a 276 -horsepower, 3.3-liter V6 engine, and is available with radar cruise control, collision alert and blind spot warning systems. All models have a 60/40-split third-row bench seat that folds into the floor.

One unique feature is a power tailgate that opens automatically when it senses the keyfob nearby for three seconds, allowing for hands-free access to the cargo area.

Fuel economy and pricing have not yet been revealed, but the 2015 Sedona goes on sale late this year.

I encourage you to check out the New York International Auto Show taking place at the Jacob Javits Convention Center 655 W. 34th st. April 18-27.
The Kia Sedona will be available for you to get inside and see what it has to offer you and your family. My kids can’t wait to attend and check it out. I’m sure they will ask can we take it home. I will have to save my pennies. We would love to travel in this.

I know the Kia Sedona has a lot to offer my family, and my favorite feature so far are the first class second row seats with the footrests that can slide back and forth and rotate to face the back row. I know my kids will also love this too.

Disclosure: I was compensated for this post. All opinions are 100% mine.
There will be a Twitter party coming soon. Stay tuned.

What are your favorite features? Will you be heading to the NYAS? What are you excited to see? Will this be your first time at he NY Auto Show? Would love to see your pictures in the Kia Sedona.

FAMILY FUN WITH SCOOBY DOO, THE WWE WRESTLERS, & MONDAY NIGHT RAW #wwe #wwemoms

9 Apr

I grew up watching Scooby Doo and the gang solve mysteries, so when my family was invited to a screening of their movie “Scooby Doo Wrestle Mania Mystery.” I knew we were going to be in for a treat. Not only were my kids seeing the movie, they were also going to meet the WWE wrestlers who were also in the animated film. Triple H, Sin Cara, Brodus Clay, Santino Marella, The Miz, Kane, AJ Lee, and Stephanie McMahon were all at the screening for the kids to take pictures with, and they also stayed to watch the movie with everyone. Scooby Doo even showed up, greeted the kids, and took pictures. John Cena is also in the movie but was not at the screening. Everyone had a great time. There were snacks, lunch buffet, gift bags, and the movie was funny and my kids enjoyed themselves. As a Scooby Doo fan I always knew the gang would solve the mystery and was always on my toes hoping Scooby and Shaggy wouldn’t get caught by the monster. This film is great for ages 5 and up especially if you love mysteries, adventure, humor, and a little wrestling.

In front of the theater was a Scooby Doo van that I had to take a picture of. I also took plenty of pics of the WWE wrestlers.

If that wasn’t enough we also got treated to see WWE Monday Night Raw at Barclay Center in Brooklyn. First there was a pre party with tons of food, treats, Stephanie McMahon, more wrestlers, Scooby Doo, and gift bags. I’ve always wanted to see a wrestling event live and finally got my wish. My two youngest kids, hubby, and I were super excited. Special guests on stage were Hulk Hogan, Arnold Schwarzenneger, and Joe Manganiello.

Scooby Doo Wrestle Mania Mystery is now available on DVD $19.98 and Blue-Ray Combo $29.98. (Suggested retail prices)

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. My family and I saw the screening and received tickets to Monday night Raw and received gift bags. Opinions are as always 100% mine.
